I'd go ahead and contribute what you have ... have you checked with b3 aggregator editor that it "validates" locally? ... If so, I'd go ahead and contribute what you have ... since you are "re-joining" the train, others might need to react to your "being back".
And then if you'd like you can rebuild once WTP has re-built ... and if by some odd chance there is any difference, then explain all that and ask for a respin. In general, there's almost never a need to wait until a dependent's "final build" before your code is ready ... by the very nature of Java, there's nothing "statically linked" or anything. Hope that helps, From: Rima Kanguri <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]>, Date: 05/21/2014 02:25 PM Subject: [cross-project-issues-dev] BIRT - Project dependency on GEF and WTP? Sent by: [email protected] We have a question about project dependency - We are successfully able to create the BIRT integration build. But BIRT has some other project dependencies, so far seems GEF and WTP still haven't released the RC1 build yet, should BRIT build wait until the depending project RC1 build ready or just use their latest integration build? GEF has the latest integration build as 3.9.100 (2014/05/17) and wtp seems only have the 3.6.0M7 build. thanks --Rima _______________________________________________ cross-project-issues-dev mailing list [email protected] https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/cross-project-issues-dev
