One way to verify that would be to build the app with Cordova and the cordova-plugin-crosswalk-webview (see https://crosswalk-project.org/documentation/cordova/cordova_4.html). If it works, then the problem is indeed with the fork and the only solution is that the Phonegap project rebases. This sounds like something that jira should fix (captcha + rate limits for new users). It was just frustrating that I couldn't even comment on the jira issues :) The discover-ability issue is not that bad: I originally searched for "Contact us" or "Support" or "Issues". I could only find "Issues", and that was completely closed for the public. Then I looked at "Documentation" and "Blog" (and some blog articles) for contact options, and couldn't find any. I finally looked at "Contribute" where I found the mailing lists :) I now see that you can also find the mailing lists in FAQ as well :) I've just tried your solution, and it doesn't work, i.e., I can still pull-to-refresh :( I modified my config.xml: https://github.com/yoav-zibin/phonegap-tictactoe/blob/gh-pages/www/config.xml#L134 so now it has: <preference name="xwalkCommandLine" value="--disable-pull-to-refresh-effect" /> <gap:plugin name='org.crosswalk.engine' version='1.3.0' source='pgb' /> Downloaded the APK: https://build.phonegap.com/apps/1742582/install/z9DXxsYfUx-gDxE_wyLZ And I still can pull-to-refresh :( I also asked the phonegap build community, where I got another solution, which also doesn't work: http://community.phonegap.com/nitobi/topics/how-to-disable-pull-to-refresh-on-crosswalk-in-phonegap-build-system Add <param name="XWALK_COMMANDLINE" value="--disable-pull-to-refresh-effect" /> as a child node to the Crosswalk gap:plugin element node. Maybe it's because phonegap build forked the project (http://phonegap.com/blog/2015/06/16/phonegap-updated-on-build/)? Maybe their fork doesn't have that command line parameter? From their post: Note that the source in the plugin xml above is ‘pgb’, not ‘npm’. ... Currently PGB doesn’t support gradle builds, so we had to fork the Crosswalk plugin<https://github.com/phonegap-build/cordova-plugin-crosswalk-webview/tree/plugin_with_arm_binary> and convert it to an ant project. Believe us, we don’t want to maintain a separate fork, so rest assured we are investigating gradle support on PGB and other solutions. We can make sure there is a pointer there. > You can't report issues on github, and your jira isn't publicly open. > How do you expect the community to report bugs/issues? > Regular people can't report issues because the Jira is not open to the public. Fair point. For what it’s worth, the history is that Jira is our bug reporting system of choice, and we closed the github issue tracker to avoid having to track issues in two places. The Jira account creation was unrestricted until a few weeks ago, but we had to lock it because of a spam attack. But it does look bad for someone who just joined the project, so we need to either reopen it soon or find a way to have a better error message. In any case, if you haven’t given up yet I can send you an invite. And it wasn't. The problem is on "Adobe Phonegap Build": it's an automated build system. We can't pass command lines :) We supply a config.xml, e.g., https://github.com/yoav-zibin/phonegap-tictactoe/blob/gh-pages/www/config.xml#L133 See Adobe announcement: http://phonegap.com/blog/2015/06/16/phonegap-updated-on-build/ So we need a way to disable this flag without the solution in https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-3901 On a more general note: this is the most closed open-source project I've seen. It took me forever to even find this mailing list :) You can't report issues on github, and your jira isn't publicly open. How do you expect the community to report bugs/issues? Regular people can't report issues because the Jira is not open to the public. see: https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/secure/Dashboard.jspa Not a member?
