Thanks to all who responded to my questions, especially
Chad, Laura, Mark & Carl.
As I suspected, the answer to
even one question raises half a
dozen new questions.
I think I'm getting the idea.
Re-building a car is like having
a kid. You just keep sticking
time and money and care into
it in the desperate hope that
someday you'll end up with
more than a useless
heap.
It's good to know that there
are others who've been down
this road and that they're
willing to point out some of the
cow pies before I step in them
with both feet.
