I'll say that I've never removed it, but I often thought about it on my 97
Civic EX. I absolutely abhor power steering unless it's completely needed
(like an SUV or other monstrocity, for example). I just figured that it
would be a pain to remove, and a pain to replace once I sold the car.

Only in NA. The rest of the world (mostly) have power steering on their
CRX's. And before you all say you don't need it, welli if you have not
driven a CRX without it you don't know. Consider this....Ricky, have you
ever removed power steering off a car that came fitted with it??
