Hmmm, another good place to try and help you identify the engine is the hybrid page www.hybrid.honda-perf.org if you do some looking thru the archives there, you might find your answers. As far as the engine code, I didn't see in roberts e-mail a description of how to find it on your block: if your standing facing your engine, with the hood popped, there is a rectangle with letters punched into the metal on the left side of your engine, about level with the oxygen sensor, on the part of the block that the transmission surface mates with the engine.
