I *REALLY* need to update that page. I'm no longer using the springs that
came with the VSpec ~ I swapped them out about 3 months after installing
the kit. I replaced them with my set of Eibach Sport's (which I had
purchased before the kit, just never got around to installing them). It
now handles/responds the way I like. This is not to say that the springs
that came with the VSpec are bad, I just preferred the performance of the
Eibach's (having owned them before on my past cars).

If given the choice, I would go with the Ground Control's. I've used these
on some of my past cars (VW) and I have always liked how they
performed. Koni also makes an adjustable coil over kit and Bilstein has
also released theirs. Both are also good candidates. VSpec, however, is
perhaps the most affordable of the brands I have mentioned and they work well.

Ride quality, a question I get asked alot, is a matter of preference. What
may seem harsh to someone feels OK to me (and vice versa). Obviously the
lower you go the more harsh the ride will be. I'm running 16 x7 inch rims
with 205/40-16 tires. For daily driving, I set my ride to be about an
inch from stock. This gives me a nice ride and it still gives the car a
nice stance. The pics on my site shows the car at sitting about 3 inches
from stock. This is about as low as I can go and still be able to drive
the car (this is the setting that I use when I attend shows, meets and
drives). Back when I was running on my Honda Del Sol rims (14 inch), the
ride quality was pretty good even when I was running around town with a 2
to 2.5 inch drop. Mostly it was due to the 195/60 tires.

For AutoX and Open Track applications, the height will vary but usually
it's no more than an inch from stock (I also run a set of Panasport 14 inch
rims with 195/60 tires on them) and the VSpec has done pretty good in both
applications. If you're a more serious racer, you'll want to look for
something like the GC's.

Overall, I am very happy with the VSpec. My brother has the Skunk-2 kit on
his Civic which is basically the same as the VSpec and there is a
noticeable difference in the ride quality. The springs that come with the
Skunk-2 seems to be a bit more stiffer than the VSpec springs (which are a
bit more on the soft side).

Anwyay, I hope was able to answer your question. If not, please feel free
to contact me.
