If you're asking what's under *MY* hood, it basically all stock with the exception of the upgrades that are listed on my site (although I seemed to have forgot to mentione the AEM Adjustable cam sprocket ... that was one of the first major upgrades that I did...). The cylinder heads also had some work done to them by the previous owner which I am still not 100% sure what ~ it does pass California emission testing and the compression is bit higher than stock. Someone suggested that it might have gotten a slight/mild porting and polishing (I've never heard of that before ~ either the head is ported and polished or it's not... whatever). I did put it on the dyno last year after I did the exhaust header and catalytic converter swap. I don't have those numbers here but I was definitely putting out more than the stock Si motor produces. I believe I have those numbers at the house and if I can remember, I'll get them and post them if you're interested. >And some guy around my work has his CRX >Si the same color with all white interior. But I think it's all show. He >always rolls by my work looking at my CRX. Typical behavior... Consider it a compliment... :^) >Oh that brings up another >question, I want to lowwer my car so what brand do you think is good? I'm >rolling on some 17' Koni rims some Daytona tires. So you could have a >picture in your head. I was told Ground Controls are good but my brothers >both used Eibach Pro's. I was Thinking of getting Skunk 2's but I'm not sure. >Let me know what you think. I have the VSpec-II kit, my brother has the Skunk-2 kit (he has a 2000 Civic) and I've owned Ground Control's in the past. I also have used Eibach springs in the past and I'm currently using them with my VSpec kit. Having said all that, all of what you mentioned are good. The adjustable coil over kits (like the Ground Control and Skunk-2) are nice in that they give you the ability to adjust your ride height to accommodate your wheel and tire combination. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with static springs (lowered springs). In fact, lowered springs are easier to deal with and maintain but with the downside of having to *worry* about tire and wheel clearance. Since you did not give me any width information, I'm going to assume that your're running 17 x 7 inch rims with 205/40 or 205/45 tires (or possibly even 215 or 225 tires). The Eibach Sports will work in either case. What shocks do you plan to use, BTW. Bottom line question, "what are you looking for?" Are you looking to lower the car for looks? Do you plan to race occasionally (i.e. AutoX, Open Track, straight line...) or both? I personally like the ability to adjust things which is why I went with the adjustable coil over kit. The one nice thing about the Honda suspension is that they are so easy to work on so swapping out springs and stuff is not that big of deal. If budget allows, regardless which way you go, look into a camber kit. I have the Ingalls Engineering kit (which I *REALLY* need to install). This will give your alignment shoppe the ability to align the suspension and hopefully add some additional miles to your tires. Suspension Techniques also makes a good camber kit. Best of luck and let me know what you end up doing... Robert K.
