Yeah, that's the sucky part.  Unless it's really warm and dry, it can 
take 2-3 days to dry completely before you can re-oil it.  I've found 
that the oil doesn't take as well if it's still at all damp.

Prepare for some down-time on your ride, or buy a second filter element ;)
