I think that it was Mr.Lee grimes who said that if you let off the gas, then 
get back on the gas, and it smokes that the oil "leak" is in the 
head/valvetrain?

Today I coasted down a hill in 5th gear & when I went to accelerate to go 
back up, I saw probably the biggest billow of smoke I have ever seen leave 
the back of my rex...it was actually quite funny beacuse now I know where 
the problem is. I have a spare block that I'm probably going to have a 
rebuild done on it....

One question though (possibly george), a friend of mine (well more of an 
aquaintenence) has a D16Y8 (out of a new-ish civic Ex 98 body style), and he 
is trying to sell me his block & head with 80,ooo miles on it, the main 
bearing on the block is shot, so AFAIK it's as good as junk, but the head is 
in good condition, and it has the SOHC VTEC. I have a spare D16 block, so I 
was considering gatting the block punched out, and re-honed, getting the 
brank balanced, and cleaning up that head, to have a fresh motor in my rex. 
Anyways how much for the block & Head? (keeping in mind that his wife wants 
it out of his garage ASAP)
