Craig,

I was in a similar situation two years ago- trying to locate foam, fabric,
etc. for my worn stock seats, but decided to bite the bullet (about $700)
and purchase Corbeau's Targa RS seats + rails. Back then the seat rails sat
too high in the car and I ended up modifying them. I understand there's a
new part number at Corbeau for special Honda-only rails which solves the
problem. Two things I noticed- one, the car feels more comfortable to ride
in than in a newer Integra GS-R and two, the seat position is far better
than any Honda seat I've seen. Damn, I should get a kick-back for this...
Hmm...

Subject: CRX: Replacement Seat Foam Successes??? Anyone?

I have found a bit of information and some part numbers on replacement seat
foam inserts for my 89 CRX Si. I really need some new foam to support my 210
pounds on my 120 mile round trip journey to and from work. I plan on some
strut cartridges, springs and bushings but figure seats are a great place to
start.
Has anyone actually gotten these things in the US or Canada?
Also, I am 6'4", 210 pounds with a size 14 shoe. Headroom is critical for
me. I say this because I might consider aftermarket seats given that they
don't restrict head and foot room. Any experiences there?

Regards,
Craig Borden
