My best guess:

Picture 1 - The green wire. It looks like an accessory was added and then
later removed. What I would do is see if it's *hot*. You can do this
either with a volt meter or a test lamp. I would hook the positive lead to
the green wire and then touch the negative lead to a good ground. If you
get +12VDC then it's hot all the time and I would snip the end so that it
doesn't short something out or trace it back to where it's getting the
voltage. If you get nothing, turn the ignition key to the accessory
position and re-check. Then do the same with the ignition switch in the ON
position.

Picture 2 - The black wire. Probably a ground wire to some
accessory. Typically, brown wires are the stock ground wire. If you want
to see if it's a ground wire, take a meter that either has a continuity
checker or can check Ohm (resistance). Place one of the leads on the black
wire and the other to a good frame ground. If you get continuity or the
Ohm readings read 0 (zero; a dead short to ground) then it's a ground wire.

Picture 3 - The red button. This was definitely added to activate an
aftermarket accessory (i.e. driving lights). Behind the dash where the
switch is located, follow the wires to see where it goes.

Picture 4 - The switch and red LED. The switch looks to be the valet
switch that comes with most aftermarket alarm systems. The red LED was
probably the alarm LED (flashes when the alarm is armed).
