Steering box comes to mind first in that all you need to do is try and tighten it up. However, you have to be careful not to over tighten it. Usually you use a device called a "Spring gauge" to help set the amount of resistance/effort required to turn the steering wheel. If adjusting the steering box does not fix the problem, then you might have a bad steering rack or some other damaged suspension component. What I would do is take it to an alignment shoppe and have them do a complete check on the front. Be sure to tell the technician why you brought it to him and what was done recently (i.e. you got new tires). Robert K.
