i have a 91 dx and recently did an engine swap with a
b16a1 with and lsd. i put in a lightweight flywheel,
clutch, unorthodox racing crank pulley, injen cold air
intake, dc headers, and a thermal research exhaust. it
dynoed at 152hp and 110lb of torque. point is, is that
I am a very happy man right now.
i was cited this last weekend though because of my
exhaust tip. I live in Salt Lake City and they
apparently have some city ordinance that i was
originally told had to do with aftermarket muffler
systems being illegal. I since found that it is
actually a noise ordinance more than anything. it
states that an exhause system must not exceed the
noise level of the oem muffler. I have looked all over
for this type of statistic and cant find out the
decibel level of a stock crx. do you know how i could
find this information out.

There should be a citation violation code on the ticket that you got. You should be able to use that to look it up at your local DMV or Police station.
