<Dear Jenn"
The doors that you speak of, while most frequently utilised by the Lamborghini wine and Tractor company,
Are actually called 'Paper Cutter' doors by their designers
These doors were made to enable the passengers of a car to egress their vehicle while parked close to another car
In Stark irony, The Lamborghini owner never parks his car within 4 parking spaces of anything else.
I would like to ask: Are you comfortable putting your head, hands, arms, legs, and body through a device that is not only likened to, but named 'Paper cutter'?
The typical paper-cutter equipped Bertone design is VERY low, and VERY wide. Making it difficult to roll.  The CRX; however, lies in bright contrast with it's higher center of gravity and ability to roll.  Once on it's own roof, your $2500 door option will pin you in the car. With the enhanced frame and roof lines, rescue services will not be able to pull you out.  Jonah the Fish swallows another.

But good luck, and happy motoring. I would personally only get this mod for a show-car only.. I've pulled too many people out of overturned cars to ignore this (I work in Bridgeport CT Fire Rescue services)  And more than likely I will be called to the scene of your potential accident to evaluate and submit reports to local and federal DOT.  I haven't yet.

Jenn -

Sorry it has taken me a long time to reply.  I've been busy traveling and have been going to through all my email and getting back to everyone of them.

In answer to your question, check with the guys at Asylum Motorsport (http://www.asylumms.com/).

Hope this helps.  If not, let me know and I can look into it further.
