I don't really know if this may be the fact or if it may even be true, but
I took my wifes Acura 3.2 TL in not too long ago because it had the same
sounding symptoms when it would start in the morning. I paid the dealer 70$
because I really could not figure it out my self. The gent comes back and
tells me It is excessive build of carbon on the valve stems and piston tops
so when the injectors prime every morning the carbon absorbs the majority of
the fuel , until the carbon is saturated with fuel it then runs fine. He
stated to use fuel addatives for a couple months to clean it all out. I use
Mystery Marvel Oil and always 93 Octane at every fuel up and ever since the
car runs great. My CRX runs with octane booster at every fill up just
because the ZC likes to drink it better and run smoother.
I see you stated you use injector cleaner once a month so this may not
apply to you, but if you know Honda Engines they are great carbon builders.
Have you noticed this problem after you use the injector cleaner?
To me this stuff with the carbon and fuel on my wifes Acura is new to me.
