Hey I was linked to your site.  Very good info on the install and how to test this.  My car just had the wires, plugs, rotors, ignition coil replaced.  The car was bogging at high rpms in every gear till finally it died.  They replaced the ignition coil and the car was fine for about 2 or 3 days.  After this period was over the car began to do the same thing again.  It's a puttering noise and it only happens at 4G rpms again.  Could this be the ignitor going bad??

I ordered one anyways to change it however im clueless.  Can has fuel pressure set at 42psi wot.  AEM CAI.  That's pretty much it.

It's a puttering noise, air fuel guage when this happens jumps crazily, and my tachometer jumps from 4-4500 and so forth repeatedly.

If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Ricky

Could be the Igniter unit or the distributor itself.  Usually when the Ignition Coil is replaced, it's recommended to replace the Igniter too.  Don't forget to check the grounds.  This may be the reason your air fuel guage is bouncy around too.

It may also be the main relay (http://www.crx.org/southcal/tech.html).

Check the ECU for any error codes first.  If none are reported, try resetting it just for kicks.
