Umm... I live in Texas, and I don't think I'd offer more than $250 for
that car (honestly)...

I bought an '89 DX with working A/C just last summer with 167k miles on it
for $750... It had just been in a frontal accident, but had been repaired
(albeit, not very well, but it had straight body panels on it already)...
And it didn't seem to have even gotten banged up that badly in the first
place.
