I finally decided to try to repair my speedometer. I know it wasn't the speedometer itself, or the cable. So I took out the gear from the top of the tranny right where the cable goes to. All I want to know is where the heck did the 1/4 of the plastic gear go that was missing? Should I be worried about the tranny going to peices if that part of the speedo gear get's eaten?
