Title: Driver's Side Door
Not to fear.  This usually isn't that big of a deal.

If you can get the door panel off, then you're most of the way there.  What usually happens is one of the bolts works itself loose.  The bottom of the window is secured by two bolts.  When one of them comes off, you have the situation that you describe below.

If you need further assistance getting the door handle, window crank, or other parts off, there are several on here who can help.

Subject: CRX: Driver's Side Door

As if my baby doesn't hate me enough...

now my driver's side window is apparently broken.  I ride with it rolled down because my AC is broke and when I went to roll it back up when I got to work this morning it wouldn't budge.  I tried again and it make a horrible cracking sound (no not the sound of glass/window cracking, but the sound of plastic rolling over metal when it shouldn't).  So I pulled it up in place so it appeared that it was rolled up properly.  Does anyone know of a place on the web that has schematics for a driver's side door so I know what pieces to take apart and when to see if I can fix it myself?  I'm hoping that it's just a little off track, but knowing my luck lately...it's probably gonna need to be replaced. :/
