Did the R&R on the outer CV boot yesterday. It took just under an hour.
Getting the metal strap/band back on nice and tight seemed to be the shared
grief amongst the replies I got. And it was kind of a paint in the butt
but I think I got it down good and tight. I took it for a quick run up the
freeway and back and didn't see any grease leaking out (fingers
crossed). Drove the car into work this morning and took a quick peek
inside the rim and saw no grease. Won't know until later this evening when
I can jack the car up and take a closer peek.
Anyway... I want to thank all those again who replied.
