What about those wire-feed welders that I've been seeing in Sears Hardware?
They're around $200 in price..
I've been interested in a cheap, easy to use, general use welder to start
playing around with..

I'm not sure if the ones I've been seeing in Sears are a good suggestion.

I'm pretty sure you need a TIG welder to weld aluminium.  Probably not
cheap or easy to get.
