> and if those cars were all sleepers

people dont want to see cars they can see every day on the freeway,
they want something visually interesting

> and maybe a new cast

people don't want to see average looking actors, they want handsome men
and attractive women

> REAL (autocross, drag) racers keep getting trucks

HAH yeah OK, why would average weekend racers (weekend because we have
normal boring jobs during the week) like you and me drive their beater
SCCA cars to rob semis? You thought the real F&F plot was bad... HAHA!

> (be realistic, no under the truck driving)

That was a cool stunt, people like to see cool stunts

> bang its a blockbuster

LOL, no, that would possibly be the biggest flop ever. I seriously
doubt the average movie goer wants to see a movie about stock looking
cars with average looking people driving them doing visually unexciting
things like driving at freeway speeds and using their turn signals and
obeying traffic laws.

This is HOLLYWOOD we're talking about here, not a documentary feature.
If you're going to film a fictional (yes, F&F was supposed to be
fictional) action/car movie, it has to have some kind of interesting
things to see and here... flashy cars (exotic cars and Ricer cars are
both very flashy) AND actors with visual impact.

All you people that harp so bad on F&F need to realize it was just an
action movie about cars. It was NOT supposed to be a primer or
documentary on the state of the import car world. Just like Point Break
was not the definitive documentary about surfing, and Hackers was not
the definitive documentary about the computer geek world. It's
HOLLYWOOD people, give it a break. As much as people say F&F sucked so
bad, I'd be willing to bet half of you own it on DVD and have watched
it many times. Come on... admit it.
