Julian California (San Diego) Meet and Cruise Update - January 17, 2003
The proposed route
Traditionally the route from San Pascual Valley to Julian has remained the same with the only thing being different has been the starting points. The first was in Escondido, then the following year it was San Marcos and then later in that same year it was out in La Mesa.
This year I've selected Encintias as the starting and meeting location where we'll drive Del Dios Highway into Escondido and then into the San Pascual Valley.

I will be driving the proposed route sometime this weekend (it has been a long time since I drove Del Dios Highway) where I will stake out stopping points for photos and regrouping in the event the group gets broken up.

As mentioned above, I will drive the proposed route this weekend and update the site with the confirmed route. I hope to also have a printable map of the route up there too. Maps will be provided on the day of the event and we'll go over it prior to taking off.
