Has the car been built with the same crash standards as a U.S. model? That
may be the biggest hinderance as far as its export. When I attended the
first Import Auto Salon in Pamona a few years ago, my boss and I talked to a
dude that imports Skylines to the U.S. and he was telling us that making the
cars conform to U.S. crash standards was the most time-consuming and
expensive part of the process. I don't see how emissions could be too
difficult - shouldn't be much more then adding a catalytic convertor, though
I'm sure I'm over-simplifying it (especially if you're going to live in
Cali.)

Anyway, good luck! It would be cool to see that car brought over!
