Yours is labeled as
"3 = GL, GLS, LX"
they may have called the dx the "standard"... you can check out
http://www.ncn.ru/~bsn/auto/i_and_avto/podrobno/honda_vin.htm and it
explains the breakdown of the vins... vins are diff between 83-86 87,
and 88-89, 90-93... something along those lines...

Did this change between 1985 and 1986? Or in different countries?

I'm the original owner of a 1985 CRX purchased in Canada. It still has 
the original 1.5L carburated engine with manual choke. It wasn't called 
a DX, though. That's a US thing. As far as I know, the Si model, with a 
fuel injected engine, wasn't available in Canada until 1986.
