Why do you say that? Do you know of some security weakness in PGP/MIME?
I prefer using PGP/MIME for several reasons. With it off, Eudora
encrypts the message before it puts it in the out box and before it tries
to run spell checker on it. That has two undesirable effects, namely I end
up without having a clear text copy of the message and that spell checking
the encrypted message is a waste. With PGP/MIME turned on, the message is
not encrypted until it leaves my system, thus I end up with the cleartext
version in my folder.
I know that I can work around and get a cleartext copy back by encrypting
to myself and BCC myself -- but that seems to be extra work.
The only problem with PGP/MIME is that some receivers cannot read it,
e.g. Microsoft Outlook. Those people have to do some extra steps to
decrypt. I consider that a default in the MS Outlook program.
