FYI. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: General Availability of StrongKey CryptoCabinet Date: Mon, 19 Mar 2012 16:21:17 -0700 From: Arshad Noor <[email protected]> Organization: StrongAuth, Inc. To: [email protected] <[email protected]>
Friends, I believe the users of the BC forum may find it useful to know that a new open-source product (that builds on top of BC) was released today. StrongKey CrytpoCabinet is built using the Regulatory Compliant Cloud Computing (RC3) architecture and can be used to encrypt files and store them in public or private clouds (or SAN/NAS devices) while storing cryptographic keys securely outside the cloud. CryptoCabinet uses another free and open-source product, the StrongKey CryptoEngine (http://www.cryptoengine.org), for its underlying cryptographic functions and cloud communications. Details on CryptoCabinet can be found at http://www.cryptocabinet.org. Thanks to the great work of the BC team for doing what they do; it makes it possible for us to bring, hopefully helpful, solutions to the community. Arshad Noor StrongAuth, Inc. P.S. Since I did not elaborate what the RC3 architecture is, you can read it at any one of the following sites: * IBM's developerWorks.com. http://ibm.co/rc3dw * Information Systems Security Association: http://bit.ly/rc3issa * InfoQ: http://bit.ly/rc3infoq * Our site: http://www.strongauth.com/pdf/RC3-WebAppArch-1.2-2.pdf _______________________________________________ cryptography mailing list [email protected] http://lists.randombit.net/mailman/listinfo/cryptography
