Benchmark results for RSA and Rabin signature verification

Hi,

I looked the benchmark results and found something that I didn't understand.
RSA 1024 signature verification takes 0.18 ms per operation, and the Rabin
1024 signature verification takes 1.61 ms per operation. Rabin signature
verification is simply a modular square followed by a comparison. How could
it be slower than RSA signature verification? Did I miss anything?
