Sounds like a bug actually. If you call g3d->BeginDraw(), calling g3d->FinishhDraw() afterwards should be enough. You said it broke when you updated after a month or so; can you give some dates? Like, "the CVS version of Oct 01 worked, the one of Nov 01 broke". -f.r.
