In whatever way you realize it, please take the engine's "saveable" flag into account. The idea is that any information that is only needed for saving a world should only be kept if the world is actually going to be saved - means the saveable flag is set. The idea is that any app that won't write a world ever (e.g. your average game) doesn't have to pay the "penalty" for additional saving-related housekeeping. -f.r.
