Hello. This is more about using CS, and there the problem is
the availability of the models. If our purpose is to make
jaw-dropping demo screenshots, the easiest way could be by
using the models from existing games. No models can be released
by us but all the CS related files can be released.

What games do have useful models for which importer could
be written or already has been written?

Quake? Doom 3? Half-Life 2?

Morrowind and Oblivion are my favourite games so far from
this PoV. Models includes standard family house items, so to speak.

Enemy Engaged 2 has 1200 detailed vehicles (airplanes, tanks, etc)
but I have no idea in what format they are as I have not this game.

FlatOut 2 has 5000 breakable models but I have no idea in what
format they are as I have not this game.

NWN/NWN2 have general models but are they detailed enough for
a first person game?

Zoo Tycoon 2 uses NIF files (as does Oblivion) but the animals
are low detailed. Does any game have highly detailed animated
animals?

Gothic 3 has good-looking "animals" but I have no idea in what
format they are as I have not this game. Anyone has this game?

Any other games to consider?

Juhana
