I'm using fedora 7 - 64-bit edition. I've built crystal space 1.0.1(the stable
release) successfully. I tried walktest and it ran well in the windowed mode.
However, if I try to enter the full screen(by pressing Alt-Enter) or running it
with -fs option, the program immediately exits. I read in the on-line crystal
space manual that this command is available only if I use the x11 plug-in since
it sends an Extension command to the current renderer. How may I load and use
the x11 plug-in.
Here are the specifications of my system:
OS: fedora 7 - 64-bit edition
video card: nvidia GeForce 6600
video card memory: 256 MB
current screen resolution: 800x600
current color depth: 24-bit(which is equivalent to 32-bit in microsoft windows)
nvidia display driver version: 100.14.11(I'm using the driver provided by
nvidia, not the one provided by fedora.)
crystal space version: 1.0.1 - stable release
I get the following error message when walktest exits:
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for
operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 135 (XFree86-VidModeExtension)
Minor opcode of failed request: 10 (XF86VidModeSwitchToMode)
  Value in failed request: 0x1c00002
Serial number of failed request: 221
Current serial number in output stream: 225
