You're mixing up Win32 and WX. On Win32, CS should never be compiled with UNICODE set. We don't have to check for that. No need for #ifdefs, just use *A functions all the time. WX on the hand may be compiled in Unicode. (I think possibly even when your "main" application isn't.) So for interaction with WX you need to use wxChar, wxString, wxT etc. to make it properly build in either case. AFAICS wxgl is doing that. -f.r.
