msvcp90d.dll is shipped with VC. The ‘d’ indeed means debug – which means in this case that this DLL is not redistributable. That is, you could only run it on another computer if VC is installed there as well. May or may not be included in the Windows SDK, but IIRC it isn't. If it doesn't work on a computer *with* VC, your installation may be botched... or maybe some manifest version issue... -f.r.
