Hi Everyone,
I am a Web developer with more than two years of
experience in website development. I am from India and have recently
shifted to Christchruch. I am Masters in Economics and have done Advanced
Diploma in Information Technology. I have worked in technologies like ASP,
HTML/DHTML, _javascript_, VBScipt and SQL Server. I have a basic knowledge in
ASP.net and XML also. I was working in a MNC in India on an online portal which
has various modules like Jobs, discussion forum, e-cards, Matrimonials, Event
Calendar, Radio etc. I was a member of Development team and was also the
Team Leader for this team managing the portal which had 6 developers, 4 graphics
designers and 1 Web research assistant.
Do you think that by doing any kind of local
course, I will have better prospects of job? If yes, what that course can be?
Another thing, do you think that for web
development, I need to know Graphics Softwares also?
I will be very grateful to you if you could pl
guide me about the resources to find a suitable job like the information about
the agencies I should approch etc.? As I have come to know that
very few jobs get advertised so it is very difficult to know the right way to
find a job.
Pl help me out to find a suitable job.
