Very interesting. I'll see what Foodstuffs think of this, all those
supermarkets...

Cruddy world we live in where people think it is sufficient to patent
something as the obvious as a couple of database fields, then spend
the next 20 years demanding royalties.  NB: What is their "date of
invention"? Clear evidence of prior art defeats any patent.
