Main problem with Real Contacts is that you have to have a "real" contact before any jobs will show... and your "network of contacts" will extend only as far as this "real" contacts do... when you are new in this game (which is the time when people are most keen to network) you get no value out of "Real Contacts" unless you already know people - kind of chicken and egg story. So how about CSI joins there as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]", and connects this "virtual" contact with couple of "real" ones, and publish this info somewhere on CSI web site? This way, people affiliated with CSI could get an entry point in the network...
