Hi folks -- a erminder from the HitLab people about this afternoon's Open
House:

The Human Interface Technology Laboratory New Zealand (HIT Lab NZ), a
leading-edge human-computer interface research centre based at the
University of Canterbury, is holding an 'open house' on Wednesday August
27th from 4-7pm.

Anyone is welcome to attend, to tour the lab, to view some ofthe latest
projectsandtechnologies of both the HIT Lab NZ and associated
organisations, andto meet the HIT Lab team which is led by Dr Mark
Billinghurst, who is renowned worldwide as one of the leaders in his
field.

The HIT Lab NZ is a multi-disciplinary lab that works in collaboration
with industry andacademia to develop revolutionary interfaces to
transform the way people think and work with computers.
