TUANZ is coming to Christchurch next Wednesday afternoon with its "Rocking Ahead With Fast Internet" campaign, a comprehensive, community-wide awareness-raising and educational programme about applications of high speed Internet access, involving nearly 4000 people.
Seminars are being held around NZ and aim to attract people from among the leadership of all sectors of the business community, local government, community groups, and others who are in a position to disseminate the information obtained and spread the enthusiasm. Senior secondary school students are also involved. The TUANZ book "Survival of the Fastest," a treasure trove of ideas for uniquely Kiwi Internet uses, will be a pivotal part of the seminars. Every participant will be sent a copy for pre-reading, and one of the keynote presentations will comprise an expansion and elaboration on the ideas it contains. Attendance is $44.50 + GST.
