Canterbury Software Inc. (CSI) in association with the Canterbury Development Corporation (CDC) is pleased to offer the following Enterprise Training Workshop exclusively to CSI members.  Enterprise Training aims to improve the capability and competitiveness of Canterbury Business, essentially targeting owners and operators of small and medium sized business enterprises, (business with less than 20 staff).

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Not only are you required to be an innovator, a business planner and a team builder etc, you now have to be the sales person. What you need is some simple and effective sales and relationship building techniques.

During this workshop you will learn about the sales cycle, planning your calls, preparing yourself, how to identify your clients needs and how to address those needs. You will also learn to watch for buying signals and how to close the sale. And then we will look at building relationships. Training content includes:

*       What is the sales cycle
*       Prospecting and planning
*       Identifying your sales call purpose
*       Establishing and addressing the clients needs
*       Benefits versus all those amazing features
*       When to talk and when to listen
*       Closing the sale and making a relationship

On completion, all participants will be given a simple sales planner and a checklist for sales effectiveness.

Keith Royce B Sc (Hons) MNZIM

Keith Royce's motivation in training is to role model excellence in training delivery and professional presentation. This desire has helped many hundreds of people to improve the quality of their own management skills and their personal development. Keith runs his own training consultancy called Management Training Associates; Keith has also worked on contract to the NZIM for over thirteen years. He has a wide and varied practical management background, which includes Sales Management, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management and Operations Management. Keith was also Teaching Fellow in Geology at the University Of Canterbury.
