Today's University of Canterbury Computer Science-hosted BBQ will
go ahead come rain, hail, snow or plagues of frogs. HOD Tim Bell
has just announced:

"... we have a nice atrium and sheltered area for the BBQ, No
frogs, but as a bonus we will be having a demo of a 3D Augmented
Reality game "Worms" that was developed by some honours students."

So, y'all, be there, or be square.

The details again:

TODAY (NOVEMBER 13): Computer Science Department, University of
Canterbury at 5.45pm (note change of day due to Friday being Show
Day). Chance to mingle with departing students. Sausages will be
provided, but BYO drinks. It may be an idea to bring extra snacks,
since the students don't get to eat all that often. The event will
be outside the Maths, Stats and and Computer Science building, with
plenty of free parking in the adjacent car park, off Ilam Road. For
