Hi Everyone, Last week you received a message from James Saruchera pre-announcing the Canterbury Software Summit. The Summit, intended to help you succeed locally and in global markets, starts at 12:45 pm on 20 October at the Canterbury Innovation Incubator. Its programme is now finalised and you can find it at the CSI web site at http://www.canterburysoftware.org.nz/summit2004.htm.
Join us and you will: - get important insights from the revealing survey we conducted of the Canterbury Software industry - learn what we'll be doing to help grow this industry and how you can benefit from this - get a better understanding of the barriers faced by Canterbury software firms when it comes to exporting - get insights from some of Canterbury's successful software businesses about how they managed to access global markets, the channels they used and lessons learnt - find out how working with your peers can help you address some of the challenges that face your and other Canterbury software companies every day. Drinks and refreshments will be provided. All businesses and individuals in the software industry are welcome. Participation is free to CSI members but there will be a $20 charge to non-members (if you are not a member yet, you can join now at http://www.canterburysoftware.org.nz/join.htm). The event will feature panel discussions of general interest and you will also be offered a variety of focused breakout sessions - choose what is of most interest to your business. Let us know your preferences for breakout sessions by going to the web site and registering (this will also help us prepare a name badge for you). Do it now! Once again, the address is: http://www.canterburysoftware.org.nz/summit2004.htm. Best regards, Andrei Link On behalf of the Canterbury Software Inc.
