I had the exact same problem with my server (under Linux), no matter how many time you will wait the server wont come up because its doesnt success to download the maps, We dont know yet why, but its appears that the server couldnt create the directory 'workshop' under the 'maps' directory and also the map number directorry' for example maps/workshop/11122233344 (example).
I have spoke with Garret (Valve) and he think maybe he have and idea to resolve this problem, however we will need to wait for the next server update. For now you can manually create the maps directory that are in ur collection and then run the server. under linux ssh: cd server-home-folder cd csgo/maps mkdir workshop mkdir mapnumber Replace mapnumber with the map number that you wish to download. 2013/3/26 David Fountain <[email protected]> > Let it sit for a bit see if it comes up.
