I doubt anyone is going to change their OS, but for what its worth.....
recently I put in an inquiry with NFO because we were looking to upgrade a
couple of our hosted servers to 128 tick. I mentioned Linux because that's
what they have listed on their order form for 128 tick servers, and they
replied by saying that because of recent performance issues with 128 tick
servers on Linux, they are only offering them by request now and instead
offering 128 tick Windows servers by default. So it's definitely a
widespread Linux issue.
