To a certain degree I think people might come back once the new case and
weapon hype has died down. People still like retakes and 1v1, Surf and
whatever else.

At that the community is motivated by drops so no more community server
drops will be a problem and will have an impact. Some game modes in
community servers might resurface a bit but this is a big hit if it is
intentional and on purpose.

Really sad to see a game that was so community driven for so long go down
like this.
