Hello.

I've already tried to contact CSGO dev team privately, but wasn't able to
get a response for over 2 weeks.

There currently is an issue with advertisements, that stay on CSGO client
until user himself deletes a certain file.
To reproduce, server owner has to place a file near the map on the server,
for example de_dust2.txt, which has certain HTML inside. Once the file is
found and downloaded, it stays shown for every other server, even if the
server does not have that file. It gives a way to promote illegal services
(practically anything), and the only way to get rid of this ad is for the
player to go to the maps folder and delete this file manually on the client
(!!!). Until then - player will see the ad or whatever is in the file every
time, the map loads.

Just wanted to clarify - is this thing intended and is this fair for all
server owners to use it as an ad placement?

Thank you.
