Hello all-

I've noticed that the unofficial sources will not compile under Red Hat
7.1 (updated from 7.0 or a clean install). There seems to be a problem
with the preproccesor included with it (I'll blame that instead of the
sources), that breaks version.h

The odd thing is that (and I may be mistaken) 7.1 uses the same version of
gcc (2.96) as 7.0! It's just a different build. I haven't done much
checking to see exactly what's different between 7.0 and 7.1, though.

I've messed slightly with version.h and can get it to compile on my
system, but I was wondering if anyone else might be able to explain and/or
fix the issue.

Thanks,
Adam Zygmunt
