What are you thinking about the construction at all?
A bit overkill IMO. just link two stylesheets, eg. basic.css (even for old ones vith color definitions etc.) and position.css, which will contain few @import lines, based on the link I posted. I think it's better than having all this mess in HTML...
Do I need a special section for Safari?
