Skip links are very common solutions, and don't have any accessibility issues. The techniques used for hiding is where the issues are. To avoid problems, hide the skip link with the "off left" technique described in http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=ScreenreaderVisibility By the way, use the text "skip to MAIN content." Without the adjective, some screen readers pronounce content the wrong way, as in contented, satisfied. -- Bob Easton Accessibility Matters: http://access-matters.com ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
