Hi all,

The width of my content is breaking my page in IE, but not in FF.

Here's the page: http://www.hamneggs.net/kmd_original.html

Here's the CSS: http://www.hamneggs.net/style_main_original.css

I've made a 2 column layout, absolutely positioning the left navbar and
giving the content (which is made almost entirely of a table) a left margin
greater than the width of the navbar. For what it's worth, each page will be
a form that includes radio buttons, checkboxes and textfields of various
lengths. We've chosen to use tables because everyone involved in the
project knows how to write them.

Everything looks great until the user lowers the display resolution to
800x600 or increases the browsers' text size, which causes the table to
appear to the bottom right of the navbar. The goal is to ensure that the
table always appears to the right of the navbar regardless of resolution or
text size. In this case I'd actually be happier if a horizontal scrollbar
appeared <!> I wouldn't do that for a public site, but this is a database
that a known group will be using.

Thanks for any advice. This database is not active yet so I do have time to
restructure/rethink if it seems necessary.

Elizabeth Hammond
